Kathmandu short trek begins at Sundarijal, the North East entry point from Kathmandu. From this trailhead we follow the Shivapuri national park , walk over hundreds of stone steps up to villages and bamboo groves ultimately reaching Chisapani. From here we can observe sunrise view and several Himalayan mountain range - Manaslu, Boudha himal, Ganesh himal ,Langtang range, Dorje lakpa, Shisapangma and Gaurishankar. All trekking trails around Kathmandu are naturally and culturally popular places . Then, you head to Nagarkot. The walk from one village to another village passing through terraced rice-fields and woody areas, observing diverse flora and fauna along the forest trails gives you the life time experience.
Day 1 : Drive to Sundarijal (1350m) and start trek to Chisopani (2140m).
Day 2 : Trek Chisopani to Nagarkot (2170m)
Day 3 : Trek to Changu Narayan (1500 m.) and then drive back to Kathmandu.
