Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Kathmandu to Nepalgunj

Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj, a city in the Terai region of Nepal. Transfer to your hotel and rest.

Day 2 : Nepalgunj to Jumla (2,370m)

Take an early morning flight from Nepalgunj to Jumla, the starting point of the  trek. Explore Jumla town and its surroundings. Overnight stay in Jumla.

Day 3 : Jumla to Danphe Lagna (3,440m)

Begin trekking from Jumla, ascending through forests of pine and oak.Pass through several small villages and terraced fields. Camp at Danphe Lagna, a beautiful meadow known for its bird population.

Day 4 : Danphe Lagna to Chautha (2,770m)

Continue trekking through forests and meadows, with occasional views of snow-capped peaks. Descend to the village of Chautha, located on the banks of the Sinja Khola River. Camp at Chautha and rest for the night.

Day 5 : Chautha to Dhotu (2,900m)

Trek through lush forests and along the Sinja Khola River. Pass through small villages and terraced fields. Camp at Dhotu, a scenic spot with views of the surrounding hills.

Day 6 : Dhotu to Rara Lake (2,990m)

Trek to Rara Lake, the highlight of the trek. Ascend gradually through forests and meadows. Arrive at Rara Lake and set up camp on its shores. Spend the rest of the day exploring the area and enjoying the breathtaking views.


Day 7 : Exploration Day at Rara Lake

Spend the day exploring the area around Rara Lake. Optional hikes to nearby viewpoints for panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Relax by the lakeshore and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings.

Day 8 : Rara Lake to Pina (2,440m)

Trek back towards Jumla, descending through forests and meadows. Camp at Pina, a small village nestled amidst hills and fields. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the village.

Day 9 : Pina to Bumra (2,850m)

Continue trekking towards Jumla, passing through villages and farmland. Camp at Bumra, a scenic spot with views of the surrounding hills. Reflect on the experiences of the trek so far.

Day 10 : Bumra to Jumla

Trek back to Jumla, retracing your steps through forests and meadows. Arrive in Jumla and celebrate the completion of the trek. Overnight stay in Jumla.

Day 11 : Jumla to Kathmandu via Nepalgunj

Fly from Jumla to Nepalgunj and then from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring  Kathmandu.
