Ghorepani Poon Hill trek begins with the scenic drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. From Nayapul you follow the river bank of Modi Khola. During the trek you pass through the rhododendron and bamboo forest, terraced green hills, river valleys and visit villages of different ethnic people like Gurungs, Thakalis and Magars. At Annapurna Conservation Area office you will get information about the project's different activities. The trekking journey starts at Nayapul just north of Pokhara and ends at Phedi.
